Thorned Rose 🌹 was Est in 2011. The idea to start up a Women’s Contemporary Fashion Brand came from my own Personal Style and admiration of Fashion. 

Since a young adolescent up until adulthood, I went through various style phases and the one that stuck with me was having that ‘Feminine Flair with a Moderate Edge’.

 As my own personal style continued to evolve I was also being open to new possibilities in the fashion industry. Therefore I eventually began working in Sales specializing in Personal Shopping and Wardrobe Styling for a Luxury department store named Neiman Marcus. I worked as a jewelry sales rep for years while there but I was also selling from every department which within the store which included beauty, clothing, home goods and more. I worked and studied while I was there. Neiman Marcus was my school for fashion and business. I ended up sharpening my skills while working for the company and it was a huge stepping stone to branch off into my own fashion/business brand. 
Thorned Rose 🌹 The Women’s Contemporary Fashion Brand transitioned to a LifeStyle Brand. A LifeStyle Brand with the purpose of giving back to young inner city girls that want to look good but can’t afford the fashion. I too was that young girl. I want to show women as well as young girls that you can be stylish without having the best of fashion. Naturally the brand evolved over the years and I branched out into skincare due to having problematic skin as an adult. I tried so many different brands of skincare from working at Neiman Marcus. I even tried Proactive and had an allergic reaction to it. Fast forward to 2020 when I came across a young and talented black queen who made her own all natural skin products and the rest was history. I was able to create my own skincare line that not only improved my skin drastically and healed my psoriasis, instantly seeing results but more importantly being able to share it with others. I’m very pleased with where Thorned Rose 🌹 is today. I’m grateful and simply living my life to see what authentically will come from the brand.

My mission is to live a full transparent life. To stand for what I believe in and to never be afraid to Speak My Mind. To inspire young girls, women and just souls from all walks of life through my hard work and determination.
